I just wanted to know from the time I submit my application about how long does it take to get notified wether or not I was accepted.

USNA commits to informing every candidate they will be notified by April 15th. The majority of the appointments occur between January and March. You could hear anytime between now and April 15th.

If you need an MOC nom, you first have to wait to find out if you received a nom. Then the MOC has to submit the nom to USNA, which must occur by Jan. 31 but could occur sooner. So, you can't be accepted until that occurs. (As an aside, getting a nom may or may not get you an appointment, but having one is necessary to receive one.)

Keep in mind ....much of Admission's work occurs after all MOC's have submitted their Nominations and all Candidates from a particular district have their applications complete. At that point Noms and Appointments has the job of reviewing each MOC slate, matching qualified candidates to nominations, and determining who is the most qualified among the qualified. Even though USNA has "rolling admissions" , first in doesn't necessarily mean first out. Be patient, expect to be informed by mid April, and if you hear before you will be pleasantly surprised.
