The purpose of this post is to not "chance" myself, but instead see what areas I can improve on, I am well aware I have a pretty solid resume, but I am still open to any improvements I can do!

Leadership:
Leadership Program
- Unique to my school, basically a leadership program that is embedded into the curriculum, with several different leadership events designed to train and test you team work capabilities, how to lead under pressure, and how to use these leadership skills in everyday life. Those who prove themselves of being a great leader by being nominated, and completing 3 different phases of training are named "Senior Leader", which aid in mentoring the underclassmen and teaching them leadership skills (I am a Senior Leader)

Team Captain of Swim & Track and Field
- I work along side the coaches to help mentor mainly the underclassmen, as well as organize my team mates during meets (making sure everyone is doing okay, hydrated, know where and when their next race is etc.).

Certified Trainer at Chick-Fil-A
- Train around 2 new hires every week, as well as mentor and instruct my team on new/updated guidelines. I also am in charge of the store if the manager is not present (called in sick, delivering an order etc.) I also come up with ways with the directors on how to improve the store.

Bible Study
- I lead a Bible study for middle school students once a week

Director of the spotlights for both my school's productions: Peter Pan and Snow White

Volunteer Work/Community Service:

Clocked in over 150 hours currently

Active member of National Honors Society

I have been on a week-long mission trip to South Dakota, where I served the missionaries there as well as the people on the reservation there

I will also be going on another Mission Trip next year to South America

Volunteer at a disabled home as a receptionists, where I help greet guests as well as their paper work/answering phone calls (once a week)

I serve on my church's media team, where I help with lights and sound

Awards/Projects:
JREX- Completed
The Jrex(Junior Research Exhibition) is an extensive research projects where Juniors do research a controversial topic that is prevalent in today's world. They must report their findings in a 15 page essay, as well as present their findings in front of an audience and experts towards the end of the year, where the expert panelists will then listen and ask you questions on your presentation

Principle's List 2 years in a row (hoping for 3 and 4 years in a row)

Rising Star: Awarded to an underclassman who has demonstrated great leadership potential.

Lettered in both Varsity Swim and Track

Other Notes:
In terms of the application itself, I will be receiving my 3 letters of recommendation from my teachers in the following week(s), and I have already started drafting my essays, as well as continuing to practice for the CFA. I am also practicing my interviews (we are actually doing interviews in speech class right now, so I've been able to practice a little there).

There it is! Leave any advice as to what I can do to improve, thanks!

Your academic stats are pretty solid, and your CFA practice results are impressive as well. Your extracurriculars and leadership activities are very solid, and includes a mix of athletics as well as things you enjoy.

My only advice: start thinking about your interviews with your ALO and congressman. You'll want to provide specific reasons why you want to attend USAFA, and about yourself as well.

Stay strong in your senior year, and don't let your grades slip during those times as well!

I appreciate the feedback, will do!

Looks like a solid resume, but if you are looking for where you can improve, I think you can get a lot of bang for your buck from a higher standardized test score if there is an opportunity to take it again, especially if you haven't spent a lot of time prepping for it. Your score is solid, but not that far above the mean (class of 2025 was about 1450, 75th percentile looks like around 1510).

Beyond that, you'll want to be sure to write some great essays and interview well

Currently have 2 sat's scheduled and 2 act's for this summer

Remember: you can superscore your SAT/ACT at USAFA! So take it multiple times, and get the best individual subject scores in english and math from all of them and put them together.

That's what I did for my SAT.

How many times did you take it yourself?

All of your list-o-stuff is great. Really excellent trajectory. But how are you different than any other candidate?

The Chick-fil-A perked me up. When you say you "take over" when the manager isn't there - that is a big deal. Lots of kids your age work these kinds of jobs, and get some leadership, but if you are fully qualified and able to entirely open, run, and shut down the restaurant - that is significant to me. My older DD got The Key to the (Big City Science Museum) - which was very, very rare - she was qualified to open, turn on everything in 11 exhibit halls, fix everything, and then shut down the entire museum. She wrote a manual for a new position, trained everyone in that group, and had the BEST stories for interviews. So many skills, character traits, and leadership - plus some very funny stories, i'm sure.

Agree to score just 10 points more to be part of the 1500 SAT club.

Plenty of great comments above. Overall I would say you are solid and what you can do is simply maintain - it will be a challenge.

In terms of prep, your mentor ALO should be available to help with interview prep. My suggestion would be to think about examples you can provide in response to anticipated questions from both the eval ALO and your nomination board.

You can search SAF for interview tips and potential questions. When formulating anticipated responses, write it down -- don't just rehearse in your mind. One approach used by many is the STAR method (Situation/Task/Actions/Results):

For results, look to quantify what you can -- people get numbers and it helps understand scale effort. Ex. I crawled across the room - or I had to crawl 8 miles to get help.
