how to check VP nomination application received

I was worried to when DS didn’t receive any response. He ended up submitting it again in case of some glitch. Still nothing. About a month later he got an email from USNA about the VP nomination request. I have no idea what this means and am trying not to rack my brain on figuring out what any of it means...just trust the system.

THank you! Our DD also received similar "acknowledgement" from USNA! ( and she was later offered NAPS!) thanks again for posting the response you received. All the BEST to you!

USAFA was able to see in their system about a month after my son submitted it, if I remember right, that he had applied for VP nomination. His admissions contact let him when he checked. At first he wasn't in there so he resubmitted VP nomination application and then USAFA admissions confirmed they could see the application had taken place.

Well that isn't re assuring at all.
 
Well I got a response in the mail, I did not get any emails. So basically if you get it they will mail you!
