The DS of a friend is interested in NA. I'll give him this fourm to mine for info but also want to send me his BGO. Searching this site all I see are references to the alumni association which is no help.

Can someone please provide a link to the URL where the current list resides or better yet, post the list.

Or is that held close and only released to those who have started the process?

It shouldn't be that tough.

Before calling Admissions, which is REALLY busy at this time of year, try the following:

(1) Check with your school guidance counselor/college counselor. BGOs are assigned by schools and most have a working relationship with the guidance counselor, who should have their contact info.

(2) Check the admissions handbook (available on-line) at usna.edu. There is a listing of Area Coordinators and their contact info. Find the one in your area and contact him/her requesting the contact info for your BGO. Include the name of your school.

If these efforts are unsuccessful, then contact CGO.

There is no publicly available list of BGOs. Also, BGOs don't have a list of other BGOs. Each Area Coordinator has a listing of his/her BGOs. Admissions obviously has all. Once you are in the candidate cycle for your year (the new cycle will begin May 1) and you are in CIS, you will have access to the contact infor for your BGO.

^^^^

Just to be clear, these are the Area Coordinators to whom I was referring in my above post. There are about 3500 BGOs and they tend to be reassigned among schools with some rapidity. Therefore, keeping a list up to date would take a lot of effort and Admissions largely relies on the ACs to do this.

So, yes, contact the AC for your area who will refer you to your BGO.

My son's high school guidance counselor was able to provide the name of the Area Coordinator and BGO assigned to our school.
