How would COVID19 affect appointment?

Hey guys,
I've been reading the posts about the coronavirus and appointment, and I haven't seen any updates recently. I know a lot of parents are putting their '24 cadet candidates in a bubble, but I live in a small town and we haven't seen a lot of cases, so life is starting to go back to normal. My gym just reopened, long story short I hugged one of my friends when I saw her, and a few minutes later she tells me she was reassigned from the ICU to the COVID unit. I'm honestly not at all afraid of getting the virus, but if I were to test positive would I lose my appointment?

I think that is one of the questions of the week. This came out yesterday:

Seems like at this point a previous COVID hospitalization (ie serious course) could be disqualifying, although the "current" (1 month old) guidance on the portal is that if you have had it and recovered, it would not be.

Also, no one knows what would happen if you show up on R-day asymptomatic and test positive or if you tested positive in the last x number of days. So many frustrating unknowns.

I'd recommend remaining in the bubble until you report. Try to control as much as you can and try not to stress about the rest. Easier said than done.
