How's my profile looking for admission? Any input welcome

Just curious, elan xu....why not set up your own account and contribute from a parent's point of view?

I could. But even if I said I am a dad, would you believe me 100% that I am who I am?

After all, it is the information/suggestion that is important. Not who I am on Net. I didn't have to tell you who I am. But the feedbacks from members here, and those were what the op asked opinions from not who they were.

In other threads you talk like you're applying this year...or is this a father-son account?

I'm confused too BigNick...

Here you sound like a candidate-

The same thing happened to me - plus the quotation marks were eliminated. I think our admissions officers should be notified so they do not deduct for this.

AKH that is true-only about 100 Presidential nominations will get admitted. However, my assignment officer told me that if I get an LOA that means I have gotton one of those 100 nominations. If you do not get an LOA, make sure you apply to your congressmen and women for a nomination

Here you sound like a parent-

ScoutPilot-I agree that asking your admissions officer is the best advice.
I am a West Point grad, taught 4 years at West Point, was on the Admissions Committee for two years and have a son at West Point, but I still agree that the admissions officer is the best source.

If this a father-son account then it would be nice for you two to have two accounts because it is nice to know the source from which advise is coming from. Information coming from a grad, former WP prof who served on the admissions committee carries a different credibility than a candidate who has not been accepted.

Haha that IS funny. And you had to ask this question?

Are LOAs determined individually or are there periodic boards that consider candidates. If boards are the answer, when will the first one meet?
