Just want to make sure I have all the right forms on I Day. I'll be bringing (forms 16, 17, 18 and 11 a and b) from the permit to report package.
Does anybody see anything I'm missing?

You don't need a direct deposit form on I-day. All of your pay will go into your Navy Fed account until you go change (if you desire) it after the ac-year starts.

I should have added that you only need a direct deposit slip if you choose to opt out of NFCU. The "Important Information" packet says:

"If you do not choose to use NFCU for pay purposes, you are required to bring a signed direct deposit slip from the bank you wish to use with you on I-Day"

Also...

don't forget to bring your social security card as stated in the permit to report package.

I remember seeing something about bring a proof of ID, but I can't find anything about a SS card specifically.

Where does it say that? Can you point me to the page?

Thanks!

it specifically states it on page 8 of your "Important Information for Class of 2013" booklet. left side. about half way down.

Good find, a7x!

ATTN PLEBES: BRING YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY CARD WITH YOU

in regards to the SS card. for my bank account i got a letter saying the need me to send in my ss card, and a couple other forms of identification in order to access my account. Should i photocopy it and send it in so i can bring my actuall ss card to i-day?

Is this a serious question. Don't photocopy and/or mail your SS card/number to anyone. Take stuff with you.

well i have to send a copy of it or something to navy federal so that my account can be opened. i have a letter next to me stating so.

Just take care of it before I-day in person. There is an NFCU branch by the mall.
