I faxed my acceptance for the AROTC scholarship?

You should also have the option of uploading it. That's what my son did, along with faxing and mailing a copy.
 
Also e-mailed and mailed my acceptance of the AROTC Scholarship on March 27 but still no word from Cadet Command. Portal hasn't updated yet, either.
 
DS emailed Cadet Command for confirmation his acceptance had been received. Received an email back within a day or two with confirmation...

Has anybody received info about being presented with the Scholarship at your high school awards night? Or does the Army not do this?
 
First off, I can't say it enough...although the Army will accept a fax, it's not the favored technology. If you didn't scan and email or scan and upload you better be patient.

And...there's nothing like starting another thread in the middle of a thread. In my Brigade we haven't received the tasking to start coordinating for Awards Nights. If you want to jumpstart the process, contact the ROTC Battalion closest to your high school and ask them/invite them to your awards night. Hopefully they will have your name on their list, when they get it, but it can't hurt to get the ball rolling.
 
We just mailed it through good old "snail mail" and our the acceptance letter that we signed is showing up on his portal now. We mailed it last Monday and by Friday it was on there. The portal has been updated with "Accepted" and also the letter we mailed in is showing uploaded. I am taking him for his eye exam and medical exam today...yay for getting that done quickly!!
 
My DS uploaded the letter and it is still showing yellow pending but when he goes to the status tab it shows that it has been accepted. Look at that tab for the update.

Application is showing everything has been received. Just waiting to see if my request will be approved now :D
