my goal is to attent United States Military Academy at West Point but I have one large obsticle in front of me and I am trying to overcome or try to find an alternative way to my goal but I am still searching . I tought maybe this platform could have some ansvers. Thank you for reading.

I am a high school graduate and currently working part-tıme.(for my university expenses)
the question is ;
perfect SAT score(1600)
perfect TOEFL (english)
fluent in 5 other languages (russian/chinese/spanish/japanese/???) and studying for other languages as well.
above average High school GPA ( full scholarship)
advancen at multiple coding languages (c++/python)
physically fit condıtion

but lives in EU and not an US citizen
can I get admitted to United States Military Academy at West Point ?

As a citizen of another country, you may be eligible to attend West Point, but you must be sponsored by your country’s military. That will require further research on your part, both on the USMA website and with your country’s military. The presumption is that you want to serve your country as a commissioned officer, which is the only reason you would and should attend West Point.

my firs plan was to study in america with a student visa (MIT or Harvard but I would prefer MIT) and apply for a citizenship . after graduation I would attend ranger school and soo on.

I dont understand the reasoning behind this statement sir, I dont mean to be disrespectfull but when I decided for my future career and made some research I concluded that west point was/is the best place for my ımprovement , do I have to be a patriot to do the right thing ?(as a soldier or commender)

The U.S. Federal Academies (Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Merchant Marine) are government-funded official military colleges with specific missions of creating U.S. military officers or maritime professionals. The small numbers of foreign nationals who attend through the sponsorship of their home country are expected to serve similarly in their home country as “payback.”

If you are interested in the uniformed corps of cadets culture, there are several private and public military colleges which are not Federal, such as The Citadel, Norwich University, Texas A&M, Virginia Military Institute, etc. Those colleges and universities charge tuition and other fees.

If you are interested in studying languages, there are numerous public and private U.S. colleges and universities that welcome international students.

If the lack of tuition at USMA is what attracts you, the reason for that is U.S. attendees commit to a minimum of 5 years active military service in the U.S. Armed Services. As noted before, international students may return to their home country to serve or perhaps be permitted to attend graduate school. U.S. citizenship is required for candidates from the U.S. It’s a matter of law.

What I meant is that West Point is not an end in itself. It is a stepping stone toward a bigger goal: to become a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army. Or in your case, an officer in your home country’s military. If that is ultimately your goal, then good. If it is not, then you should rethink your desire to attend West Point.

And yes, to serve your country as a commissioned officer, it helps tremendously to be a patriot.

I will make a detailed research about the schools you mentioned .
I am not interested in studying languages but I can admit that I have an attraction to them since my orphanage days
but my main course was always math and physics.
As for what attracted me to the west point . it was not about the lack of tution etc. because I can take care of myself , I always have . it was the oppurtunities for experience is the largest by a huge margin . simply put , U.S. army is more active and experienced then most.

If half of this is true—from the ophanage to 5 languages other than your mother tongue to the SAT and TOEFL scores, don’t waste your time applying to a US Federal Academy or a Military College. Any elite US university will take you scot free in a heartbeat and you can join ROTC. Just learn to use spell check before writing your essays.

Ranger School? Enlist in the US military OR become a US citizen, renounce your current citizenship and commission into the US military OR get sponsored by your government after serving sometime in your country’s military.

and I am sorry about the spelling mistakes , its a habit of mine to write stuff fast.
my first plan was to attend a good college and after graduation, join the army.
I just wanted to take a shortcut by attending the westpoint if I could, but after some research I understand that I cant go to west point .(I tought maybe there could be some scholarships or programs for foreigners) Its understandable to not allow foreigners .
and also I would like to say that you are the firs person to not directly rebuke the idea and gave a logicall advice , all my teachers expected me to attend some prestigious college and make a career , they probably would go crazy if they heard about my future plans . I can understand the reasoning.
