I emailed by BGO and he told me that I have finished 2/3s of the application and he said I should receive the DodMerb application soon. This was two weeks ago and I still have not recieve any such email, how much longer should I wait?

I am in the same boat. I have everything but my CFA and BGO Interview (and Nom) done, but I haven't received anything yet from DoDMERB.

I read that it can take some time and to email your AC if it does not come in the mail within one month of submitting your fifth document.

How long did it take USNA admissions to process your transcript?

Mine was delivered (and signed for) by FedEx on Friday. This isn't to say that it should already be inputted into my application, but I was just curious as to how long it might take.

.
Hey guys. Keep up the good work. Our daughter completed most of her 2023 application early. I remember the transcript taking a while to get processed. This is normal. I remember her telling us that she had emailed her admissions liaison, and he said the same thing, and told her not to worry. I think it took over 6 weeks to get into her files.

I think DODMERB works with a private/commercial company that reach out to you to schedule your medical and eye exams. I don’t remember if it came in the mail or if it was an email. I believe she was contacted in mid to late August, and she had her exams scheduled for early September.

So hang in there. All this stuff takes time for others to act on your inputs. Again, keep up the good work.

+1 to @Dr. Strange Love . I would add it's very early. It's only early July. People in admissions, DoDMERB, and any private outfits involved in thi,s take summer vacations this time of year. They aren't just sitting there eagerly awaiting your documents arrival. Patience, as you will find, is the order of the day.

When I spoke with admissions a few weeks ago I asked them specifically when they should follow up on items mailed not showing in the portal... 6 weeks was the answer. It’s summer time... their big turnover time right now. Officers and staff moving to new billets and new folks checking in. I had a buddy attend BGO training last week and they mentioned a good chunk of folks had been there ‘weeks’. They also just finished the summer rush... new class finally in, SS complete, STEM done... for many, vacation time! Hang in there. Keep plugging away on the app. Good luck!

My DD’s admission’s counselor told her to wait until end of July, she was at 50% completed on July 2nd. If she hasn’t heard from Dodmerb by then she is supposed to email her and let her know.

I would suggest that you contact your BGO or your Admissions Counselor directly, not the Area Coordinator. This is a chain of command thing (you will learn quickly to use your chain of command, and get issues resolved at the lowest possible level).

Sorry! I thought AC stood for Admissions Counselor.

My transcript was the fastest process for me. My guidance counselor mailed it and it was received and updated on my CIS in roughly 1 week.

Just checked and my transcript is in the system too!

The extra $25 for FedEx was a great option.
