I want to get into this academy but my high school doesn't offer any sports and on the application it says sports are suggested? Any tips or advice?

I go to a school in South Texas that has no sports and I am worried about not being able to get in. I have a 4.0 GPA, 2nd in my class, and several college credits. I have about 100 hours of volunteer hours, I am the captain of my school's math and chess teams and we have gone to nationals every year I have been on the time. I am also in the Cyber Patriot Program ranked Platinum, is this enough? Does anyone have any advice/tips/extra things I need to get in? Can I make it/Do I have a shot? Advice appreciated.

club sports? anything that really shows you're an active person really. Even if you told them you like to run every morning and this is then reflected in the CFA with a low mile time that could be good. just have some sort of physical thing that you can include on your application, keep in mind there are 3 pillars to the service academies and one of them is athletics. Applying without any type of physical/athletic activity won't look good, I was explained that if you think of the application as a 3 legged chair and try to sit on it the strength of each category (leg) determines your success. If you grab a chair with 3 legs and saw off one of the legs and bring it down to 2 it won't work for you very well when you try and sit on it. Texas is a very competitive state typically and for your sake, I really hope you're not a junior just now thinking about this part and you instead have time to work on this leg of your chair. Best of luck!

The real value of varsity/team sports is that they are breeding grounds for leadership, teamwork, discipline, persistence and time management. Physical fitness is part of it, to be sure, but the CFA is a better objective measure of that attribute. It’s those qualitative aspects that SAs love and seek. Is sports the only way to develop them? No. So that’s the key: Seek activities that will develop and demonstrate these attributes, and show that the lack of teams in your high school did not stop you from gaining those aspects.

There are many posts on this topic - in particular, read this one

This describes the reasons sports are SO important for your application - it's not really about the athleticism as much as the other elements described. What you have listed can probably easily fill this need, you'll just need to be sure YOU can clearly explain that in your essays and interviews. And of course, you'll also want to crush the CFA to show you aren't just a brainiac - USAFA is physically demanding and they'll want to know you will be able to handle it.

Does your Town have a recreation league? PBA League? Junior Olympics?
Is there a running club?
Is there a YMCA near by?
Can you join a swim team?
Golf team?
Adult League?
Can you talk to your gym teacher about ideas?
Are you going to a specialized school? Are you allowed to do sports at your home high school?

Obviously with covid I am not sure how realistic these ideas are.
