During the DODMERB physcial, would it have been relayed at the time of the physical?

Wanting to make sure ds is in tip top shape. Things were asked and noted was a scar on a finger and commented that he's slightly bow legged lol.

That depends on the provider who conducted the physical as it is highly variable. Both my DS's had very cooperative physicians who spoke their mind.
DS1 was DQ'd because of his football injury, period. He went non-military to UCLA.
DS2 had a minor issue that if you called it one thing would be a DQ, but calling it another thing was okay. She wrote it up as the latter. DS2 is on Army ROTC scholarship now.

Thank you for the feedback.

I guess we just wait. It appears DQS can vary on what's noted/reported? I see so many on here.

So new to all of this.

As far as the scar is concerned, probably nothing.
Bow legs....totally up to what the physician wrote and how he/she coded it.

Gotta just wait and see.

Good luck and welcome to the stress club.
(DD's husband is in Iraq now...ugh).

God bless him for his service!

It is stressful. But ds has done everything all on his own and if he gets appointed, mom and dad had nothing to do with it other than raising him. He's a go getter. He already has other plans in place. Accepted into a few major colleges and has visited Army, Navy and Air Force recruiters. USCGA is his first choice specially after participating in AIM.

Thoughts and a safe return to your DDS hubby!
