The Texas A&M University Corps of Cadets will host “Holiday on the Quad 2015” on Sunday, December 6, 2015. The event will begin at 7:30pm and last until approximately 9:30pm. Holiday on the Quad is FREE for all to attend, but is also a Corps fundraiser for the March of Dimes. All activities are donation-based and donations are highly encouraged, as proceeds support the March of Dimes efforts to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. Holiday on the Quad is open to the public and will include carnival games, live orchestra music, small rides, cadet activities, snacks, hot drinks, and much more! There will be many photo opportunities for kids and families that include pictures with Santa, Parsons Mounted Cavalry, and our massive 19' Reindeer! Come join the Corps of Cadets for the second annual Holiday on the Quad. It will be a great time for all!

For more information on the event, visit their Facebook page; https://www.facebook.com/holidayonthequad

This continues the Corps relationship with the March of Dimes, which is represented by the “March to the Brazos”, which will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016. According to Wikkipedia, “March to the Brazos is the largest and most successful student-led fundraiser for the March of Dimes in the United States, and raised over $1.5 million between 1977 and 2007.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/March_to_the_Brazos
