Immunization form

I just went to my doctor to get the immunization form for accepted candidates filled out. I have not had the Hepatitus B vaccine which the form says is "required prior to admission". I recieved the first dose of the Hep-B vaccine that day but need 2 more, one in a month which is not a problem, but the last in 6 months, which is not before R-day. Will this be a problem regarding my admission? It seems to me that many people will not have Hep-B immunity and will not be able to complete the series of shots required prior to admission.

Won't be a problem. You will complete the series at West Point.

Did you receive other vaccines in childhood? Beginning in 1991 Hep B was routinely given to babies beginning at birth. Just a thought that you might want to check your records again.

I think it was a little later than that (or we were in a more backwards area! ). My son was born in March 1992 and he started that series in 1993. My next son was born in July 1993 and they started his at birth (same doctors) so I'm thinking maybe it came out between there so this years' seniors may have just missed it (depending obviously on when they were born and their specific doctor). I am surprised though that they weren't required for school admission at age 5/6.

I recieved it as a child in Korea but in incorrectly spaced intervals because i was basically on rush delivery to the US. They ran a titer to test my immunity and i unfortunately am not immune so i guess it didnt work.

another immunization question

I took a copy of the immunization form to my son's doctor. They filled out what they could and then sent us where we need to go to for the rest of the shots. I have the paperwork and the receipts from his polio, menangitis and TB tests, but do I fill in the blanks on the rest of the form? Or do I leave them blank and just attach the shot records? Thanks for any help you can give me!
