Immunization Record Email

The email listed for sending immunization forms too does not work for me. I do not have a fax machine, so you can understand why I am hesitant to try right away to send my info that way. Is there a current working email?
 
Would love to have a working email for them too

I faxed mine in, and didn't get any confirmation that it was received. The email didn't work for me either. I tried calling admissions, and was forwarded again and again, until I got to the Cadet Clinic Immunization, who never answered, they only had machines. :unhappy:

If anyone has a working email, or knows another way to contact them, it would be greatly appreciated!

The cadets should bring copies of immunization records with them on I Day!

BRING A COPY BRING A COPY BRING A COPY!!! Seriously, put a copy in your pocket and do not let it leave your person at ANY POINT until you go through the immunizations station. They will almost inevitably not have everything up to date. They tried to give me FOUR more shots. No thank you.
 
My C2C DS said that they had to stick him 5 or 6 times before they could take blood (probably because he was a bit dehydrated). Said that was the worst part of I day hands down. If he didn't have the immunization records with him, he also would have had to get several shots that he didn't need. Don't assume they will have the records even if they tell you they have them.
 
Even if you do not have a fax, you can take it some place like Fed-Ex/Kinko's. They have fax machines that you can use for a small fee. This is how I did my DD's several years ago.
I will agree that you should keep a copy of your shots on you at all times during I-day. It is a small measure that can save you from being a "pin cushion".
 
I have been repeatedly sending in my immunization form, only to get a bounced back email that includes:

"The recipient's mailbox is full and can't accept messages now. Please try resending this message later, or contact the recipient directly."

I've been resending over the past couple of days. The email address I used was 10mdg.sgoma@us.af.mil. Does anyone have any info on a working email? Thanks so much! I look forward to seeing you all on I-day!

This was an issue last year as well. Try faxing a copy to the number provided. They will not confirm. Make sure you have a copy on your person on I-day. Make sure it is readily accessible! It won't do you any good if it is in your bag.
 
Immunizations needed?

My DS has an appointment to get immunizations done today, but our physician's office just called to ask what is needed as he is up to date on everything. From the paperwork, it appears he has to have all immunizations w/in 6 months of admission so he should have another dose of all even though he may not be due. Is that correct?
 
Yes. Otherwise he will just get another one when he arrives, which is not fun at all. Just get everything as asked regardless of due dates. The Air Force has their own system. Then print and bring a copy (as in pocket, not bag, I sound like a broken record but there is about a 99% chance they will have something wrong in their system and try to readminister)

There are just specific vaccinations that are supposed to be within six months of admission ( after January of acceptance year). A few are within 12 months. Not all of them need to be readministered if current. There are also optional vaccines such as HPV and Influenza.
 
If I've read it correctly, only polio and TB are required within 6 months of admission. The only one required within 12 months is your influenza vaccination, which is optional.
 
Also, for those of you having trouble with the email address: make sure the email you're sending it to ends in ".mil". On the cover sheet they send us for our vaccination records, there's a typo for the email address saying it ends in ".mi", but later on it says .mil. I recently sent the email and I believe it went through.
