In a Pickle... Need some Advice.

As many of you know on this forum, I went through the DEP for the Marine Corps....


I previously stated my intentions to drop out, as I had not signed my contract...


I am interested in doing the Minuteman Scholarship with the Army...


I requested to be discharged from DEP around the middle of February, and in present-day I am still not discharged.


This being said, I am aware that the Marine Corps discharges are completed on the 1st/3rd of each month.... I have waited, and hence on the 1st/3rd of March, and the 1st/3rd of April... I have yet to be discharged.

This is unfortunately affecting my future... as I cannot do anything with the Army Minuteman Scholarship...


Any advice

I DEP'd into the Navy (was told I would be assigned to a sub and told them no thank you), then Marines and when they could not get me active quickly, I signed up for the Air Force.

I just told the Navy & Marines I wasn't going and walked into the AF office and left 2 days later.

That was 30+ years ago though.

Not sure if this is relevant to your situation.
