Does anyone know if and when pictures from today' indoc will be posted? Thanks....
 
I heard several times today that the photos should be posted tonight. I think that may be optimistic - worst case I would guess would be tomorrow night.
 
Thanks, One more question. Do you know how we find out what company our son or daughter is in? I heard today that it would be on the parents page but I don't know where.
 
When the photos are posted, there should also be a list of the Plebe Candidates in each of the companies. history tells me that they will try to get all this stuff up as quickly as they can - but it might not all make it up online tonight. Be patient - it will be there.
 
If you find them in a picture, look at the back of their hand for 1,2,3,4 or B.
 
Thanks for the info. He is my first to go off to school never mind an academy and I was doing really well until we went over the bridge to come home. I know he will do fine and this is what he wants its just alot to take in!!!!
 
Well, it sure isn't like "regular college." But, on the other hand , you will never feel this close to, or bond with, other parents the way you do when you have a kid at an academy
 
Hi, first time poster and anxious mother here. Will the indoc pictures be on a link on the main usmma page? I am anxiously awaiting the photos too.

I am pacing back and forth in front of the computer trying not to go crazy waiting for some photos to show up... It's not that I am worried about him. He has been away from home for long periods of time before, including an exchange in Germany. I am not sure why I am taking this so hard. I guess it just seems so permanent. And parents of kids at regular colleges think they understand, but they really don't. Anyway, you are not alone. Hang in there! I sent you a PM.
 
I've been pacing back and forth myself with worry. It's hard not being able to communicate whatsoever with my boy! I just wish I could call to check on him! I sure do appreciate this forum and all the nice people I've met on here! Without it I think I'd be completely bonkers right now :eek:
 
Still Waiting....

Couldn't agree more about waiting to see those pics from yesterday!!! It probably would have been easier on us parents if they had said photos would be up today rather than last night. A good friend reminded me that when we went away to school we called home once on Sunday and used good old fashioned snail mail. Not sure it's quite the same thing but it does put it in perspective a little bit. All this technology has spoiled us but it's great having it. Still waiting for those photos!!!
