Just curious if anyone has heard anything from the I. DS is already accepted and has 4 yr ROTC scholarship and we were told we would hear early April on IS results. Not sure if they send out letters if you are not a winner either. Bueller....

Have you checked Postview? That's usually where they post the awards (or used to)
 
When I wrote Col. Foster a few days ago, he told me that the board was a bit behind schedule and that notifications should be out next week. Best of luck to you and your son.
 
Yes, his Army scholarship is showing and nothing else at this time, but will check it now that we know.
 
Col. Whitmore shared with my DS that they were mailed last Friday and we would be notified either way. We did not receive anything in the mail today, so I am assuming that we will get something by tomorrow but I've never seen the mail take so long.
 
We did not receive anything in the mail but DS emailed Col Whitmore and he sent a copy of the letter, DS did not receive any Institute scholarship so 4yr Army is all he has, bummer best of luck to others!
 
Institute Honors is a great program if you can keep it. It's extremely competitive to get, and extremely easy to lose. Most kids have a hard time keeping a 3.5+ GPA during Rat Year. Either way, the 4 year Army scholarship is great. I'm a current 4th classman (Class of 2018) and also on 4yr Army, tell your son to feel free to contact me if he has any questions.
