My DD got 2 nominations one from each party and we have no political connection.
 
Let's be honest. The author of the article has absolutely no idea what goes into getting an appointment. They went into this with the attitude of trying to find some smoking gun. Influence buying, nepotism, pay offs - oh my! Sorry - no Pulitzer prize here.
