International Travel between USMAPS and USMA

My DS will complete USMAPS mid May and we are planning to take an international trip just before Memorial Day. We are well aware of the standard considerations and paperwork required for international travel while a CC and Cadet. However, his official status in the 6 weeks between USMAPS Graduation and R Day is unclear.

He will check with his TAC Officer, and I'm advising him to start the paperwork process just to be sure. A few questions for those who might know or have direct experience:

1. What is the status of a graduated CC before USMA R-Day?
2. Would that status require DOD approval for international travel?
3. Assuming yes, what is required on the paperwork? (Asking as I anticipate helping by suppling my CC flight, destination and lodging information, but not sure)

1. CC is on Active Duty until new oath and contract is taken on USMA R-Day.
2. Yes - CC's leadership (XO's have already sent out required paperwork and forms that were due earlier).
3. Specific forms were sent to all CC's who notified chain of command about international travel over the summer (between USMAPS graduation and USMA R-Day). CC's company XO and/or battalion XO has all the info on summer international travel requirements should CC need any help in completing the forms.
