Hello, I don't know if this is an obvious question or not, and if this is obvious I'm sorry! Are we supposed to do the DoDMerb and the interview before you submit your application or will you be allowed to do them after you submit them. I'm applying for Early Action so I don't want to be too late about doing the medical evaluation. Thank you for anyone who can help me on this!

You can't do your DoDMERB until Admissions downloads you to us as a valid applicant. You must complete whatever Admission dictates, before that will happen.:wiggle:

Thank you so much for the clarification!

Same response for the interview portion. Get your application submitted and then CGA will contact you if they want to schedule an interview.

I see, I was going to contact them before submitting, but thank you for telling me before I made the mistake!

I have another question regarding the DoDMerb. While I am trying to submit the application as soon as possible so I could do the DoDmerb, I can still do my DoDmerb after October 15th (EA deadline) and it won't affect anything? Thank for anything that can help me!

Complete your application as soon as possible. The is a phased process. Until you do that, DoDMERB doesn't matter :wiggle:

Just had an admissions partner briefing earlier this week:
-DoDMERB is triggered when a student submits their application AND an applicant provides their unofficial transcript.
-The application doesn't need to be considered complete and while the interview process may coincide with the DoDMERB process, receiving one is not indicative of receiving the other.

I'm a brand-new Admissions Partner so am learning everything, but the above is direct from Admissions. Good luck!

Thank you so very much! I think you just answered a huge question I have about my son's status.

My son's situation is with AROTC, but this thread answered a few questions for me. And I'm following this Mullen character now - dude sounds like he might just know a little. :thumb:
