USMA admissions look more at the the facts on the SLA breakdown record than any interview input. The interview is more to help the applicant to make sure all questions are answered and that the application is as full as it can be. The application is always open until a hard decission is made and it would be more important to take the SATs again or provide a terrific first term senior trasncript than the interview.
I understand USMA is different than USNA where the interview does count much more.
