I have been searching around trying to figure this out, but I can't find any threads unique to my question. I have a nomination and went through an interview to get it. I have met with my FFR once, with the primary purpose of meeting a current cadet. Do I need to schedule an interview with my FFR or is my MOC nomination interview suitable? Or do I need an interview at all? If so, what is the purpose of this interview?

This is from my experience of last year:

You do NOT need to schedule a FFR interview in order to get an appointment, the reason why is they are not able to have FFRs for all cadet candidates (I, for example, did not have one, and never did a FFR interview). I do not think it would make or break your appointment, but I could be wrong (I do believe, however, there is like a "checkbox" at Admissions that notes if you have had an interview with the FFR and some comments on you... it was like the FFR was USMA's eyes on the cadet candidates).

A MOC interview is an entirely different thing, specific to nominations. Some MOCs do interviews while others don't do any at all.

Hope this helps.

Should I contact my FFR, RC or Admissions to see whether or not they would like an interview from me? Or do you know?

Go for it. Contact both and ask them if they would be willing to schedule an interview with you. Worst case scenario is they say no, but reaching out to them shows that you are serious about West Point.
