My son has his interview for the AROTC scholarship on the 22nd. Any advice on what to expect? What to do? What not to do?

Thanks

Arrive a bit early, dress well, bring a copy of his "resume," be prepared to discuss why he wants to be an Army Officer and what he might want to do in the Army, be prepared to discuss all of the leadership responsibilities he has had already had, etc. Have your son take a look at the form the interviewing officer will use (that will be used to determine his interview points that will be assigned) so he can see areas to focus his conversations around. Insure he brings up things during the conversation about what he has done that will give him points in those categories, even if the officer does not ask specifics. He wants be certain that he doesn't miss out on any points.

Thanks! Is the interview sheet on the application page? Sorry I'm just a clueless parent.

Really Great Advice above! Also be yourself in all conversations. Calm, truthful and not something you are not.

Good Luck
