He’s in it until they tell him he’s not! Thanks. As far as help, just waiting on USCGA EA decision and waiting to hear back from his MoC. He’s also been asked by his RC to retake his CFA, so he’s been training for that (upper body weakness of a xcty runner) - I’m thinking it’s better that a TWE… right?
Would your son run XC at CGA if he gets in? I have a son who in on the XC and Track teams there.Thanks. As far as help, just waiting on USCGA EA decision and waiting to hear back from his MoC. Went through the enlisted nuke pipeline, but got picked up for BOOST (defunct Officer accession program, although I hear it’s been revived in some capacity) before making it to a boat. After USNA, went through the officer nuke pipeline and then my first boat in 2000.Welcome Aboard! So as a 2x nuclear pipeliner and BOOSTer, you were both enlisted and an officer on submarines.
That brings a unique perspective to the community. Awesome.
I‘m sure he’d be happy to be on the team, but he’s gots some work to do to be competitive at DIII. He’s the captain of his team, his times are slower and he’s the emotional leader of the team. Not built like a XC runner - 6-5, 170…Would your son run XC at CGA if he gets in? I have a son who in on the XC and Track teams there.
