DD was awarded a 4-year AROTC scholarship and will be joining the Princeton University class of 2026. We are looking to learn as much as we can to set her up for success in the fall. We look forward to learning from the experienced members of this forum.

Welcome to SAF and best of luck to your cadet.

My DS turned down appointments to USMA and USNA to do AROTC at Princeton. It was the best decision that he ever made. It is a top notch detachment. There are a lot of great alums who support the program (not the least of which is GEN Milley who commissioned my son). The culture is great for women. My DS had loads of opportunities through AROTC ... studied Arabic in Jordan after his freshman year, Air Assault School at Ft. Benning after his sophomore year, a staff ride through Normandy his senior year for select cadets, and the departments of Military Science and History underwritten by an AROTC alum. He had amazing opportunities in AROTC and still had time for a fraternity, an eating club and fabulous academics. Your DD will do well!
