Starting this fall, all students are required to have an iPad. They will be used for military science classes at first, with more classes using them eventually. You can purchase it through WP and, yes, it will be taken out of pay, or you can show up with one as long as it meets the specifications that are on the portal. There have been a few discussions about it, and the official memos posted, on the Class of 2018 and West Point Parents Class of 2018 Facebook pages.
