Been reading all the post and comments for past 4 months. Thank you to everyone. I have looked at the other academy forums. None of them has warnings/negative tones similar AF. This is very confusing as a parent who sending their kid to AF. I am choosing to be more optimistic and also know I am sending my son to a military college where there will be many challenges and life will not be fare. But after reading many of these posts, I am definitely more concerned than I normally would be. I guess I don’t know what to believe.

Everyone has to of course draw their own conclusions. However after watching the congressional hearing. I was much more impressed with Academy leadership at Navy and Army. To me the new leader of USAFA felt like he was playing his political cards. Opinion of one here.

There will be ebbs and tides to changes. Not uncommon. Definitely more vocal on here as of late but usually the more extreme the changes, the more you're going to hear. Nature of the beast unfortunately. And per the "beauty" of the internet, you'll always hear more bad than good. That's the most common thing.

I wondered that myself: how are the other SAs handling this? (I did watch the senate hearing.)
I do know a lot of traditional colleges are in turmoil too, many of them Ivies. Columbia is messy right now. Harvard just lost $2 billion in federal funding. Is the grass greener elsewhere? Everyone's got their problems.
