It is really dependent on state and district. Some interview all, others pair it down. Good luck.
Competitive as in that is how he/she presents their slate? Or competitive as in this is 'generally a competitive process'?Thank you all so much for the replies! The MOC’s website said the nomination process for him is competitive. I’m hoping this is a good sign and will continue to do my best.

Either way, good luck. Prepare. DS's MOC interview was in a room, where he sat in the middle in a chair. 3 sides of the room lined with a panel of 16 of our state's finest citizens. He did it on 3 hours' sleep after winning our state football championship. DS didn't remember much of it...make sure you prepare!
I will be sure to look over possible questions and think in depth about my responses. I believe they meant competitive in general. The email states I will be doing it through a video call, which makes me a bit more nervous.

So our son got an interview email yesterday. It went on to say the board had reviewed all applications and that the screening was in depth, and very difficult. He was selected to be interviewed. He did mock interviews recently and is adjusting based on their feedback. What if anything should he take to the interview? For his mock interviews he shook hands and provided each member of the panel with his resume and letters of recommendation in a small folder. Any help/insight much appreciated.
Oh, I am sorry. He has only heard from one of the 3 so far. Thank you for the well wishes, I wish you good luck waiting to hear back from the others.Considering your son is from Arizona I will say it definitely does look promising, as I am also an applicant from your same state and was not selected for the interview. So best wishes to your son!
Senatorial Interview, the individual Congressmen may differ. In NJ, all candidates who complete an application get an in-person interview.
8th and 9th are the Newark interviews. There is another day scheduled the next weekend in South Jersey plus they generally do stragglers in the Newark offices around Christmas. The 347 is for all academies.NJ senators are Nov 8th and 9th I believe?
347 is that for north and south jersey and for all academies? I thought it would be even more!
