Is asthma a disqualifier?

A question what if the candidate was diagnosed with asthma as a child but has not had an inhaler or any other instances of seeing the doctor for anything other than a physical after the age of 13. How would DoDMerb view their condition

Generally, if there are no asthma symptoms after age 13 and no prescriptions (not just use, but Rx) for inhalers or asthma meds after age 13, it's not an issue. However, every situation is different so don't want to "overpromise." Read the DODMERB questions carefully and answer truthfully.
