Within a certain period of time from posting you can edit it or delete it. As I recall that time period is 30 minutes.

As kinnem said, we limit the time period for editing or deleting your own posts, and currently the limit is 1 hour. The reason for this is to ensure the continuity of threads and conversations, while allowing editing during a period of time for making corrections or clarifying a point.

    Thank you for your time.

If you happened to post something you didn't want to be public (like your name or email address....etc.), you can write one of the mods and they can delete it for you.
