Reach out to your local navy recruiting station, from there they should be able to help you out. The deadline is December 31st if I remember correctly. The next selection board starts on the 12th, if you are able to submit before, you might be able to hear back from them. You can start your application here (https://netfocus.netc.navy.mil/gateway/sso.aspx?auth_type=sas).Hello. I am considering applying for an NROTC scholarship. I have tried to research online but I keep finding conflicting responses. Is it still possible to apply for an NROTC scholarship, and if so, when is the application due? Thank you.
Caution! Your local Navy recruiting station exists primarily to enlist sailors. There’s a world of difference between serving as enlisted and serving as an officer. Make it it clear that you’re there to talk about an officer’s commission. Be ready for a hard sell to enlist, because that’s the recruiter’s job. Nothing wrong with being enlisted, if that’s specifically what you want. Just go in with your eyes wide open.Reach out to your local navy recruiting station, from there they should be able to help you out.
This! Always start with the primary source. SAF is great as a supplement, but not as your starting point. You’ll get 95% of what you need to know directly from the primary source. All info about ROTC scholarships is fairly easy to obtain by going to the primary source.
