We sent his nomination early, as we had done for our daughter two years ago, same thing, sent in both sets of information, in case they questioned one. We did send it out after the application initially opened at the end of March. Like I said, I sent it again last week, Delivery Confirmation, to ensure that it wasn't in a black hole. We had received a letter about three weeks after the initial one in April that said they would process later this summer. When I started seeing others with their PN I became concerned.
I will call on Monday, as son is in school, and cell phones are not allowed on campus.
Just an oddity, that I just noticed on his application page, his USAFA Counselor just changed. Is this normal? DD had the same one throughout her process and they were very helpful. I am sure they rotate due to areas that are more work, such as California.

Mine is the same from last year. Yours may have been moved or something.

ALO's are volunteers that can be AD or retired, so the ALO may have PCS'd or has decided that they want to stop being an ALO. It also can be that the location you are in has a high volume of candidates so they split it up more to reduce the amount that the ALO must work with.

I know that traditionally, if you are re-applying for a 2nd yr., they like to give a new ALO for a "fresh set of eyes" whenever possible. I know this isn't your case, but in case other posters or lurkers are wondering why, this may be a viable scenario too.

Sorry, it was not the ALO, but the Academy counselor. I could post the name, but not much point, I don't like to violate privacy. We had one for my daughter about two years ago, and when son applied initially we had a different one. Now, several months in, we have yet another Academy counselor. The only reason I can think of is: Son is trying for an IC slot with the swim team, so maybe IC's all have the same counselor, I don't know. Not to worried about it, and I will be calling tomorrow to check on his Presidential Nomination, since I will be in Colorado Springs on Thursday and can hand deliver all documentation regarding the nomination. (By the way, have mailed it twice now, last one was with Delivery confirmation from the Post Office, so I know it arrived =)
