From my understanding is this the week where a majority of the academy decisions (acceptances) will be rolled out via the portal or mail?
 
I have heard that the majority of appointments (>~800) have already been given out. This does not mean that if you haven't heard then you are not going to receive an appointment, as some MOC's slates have not been selected because of heavy competition on the slates, as well as many other reasons. USAFA Admissions has said that the candidate will hear of his or her status by early April, so I guess that most everyone will have heard by this week or next. Good luck!! :thumb:
 
My ALO said more appointments would becoming out in early april

Hopefully that's why I haven't heard...I'm competing for an appointment in the Denver congressional district of Colorado. Talk about heavy competition :shake:
 
Portal Update

DS portal updated today but no change in status. We're still in this until someone says we're not.
 
Contacted admissions, was told that there is still a big list of candidates who the admissions board has to decide on for the Academy or the Prep School....... Hopefully we all here back within a few weeks!
 
DCHillin: thank you for that update. Fortunately, we're kind of over the high anxiousness period!
