ISAIAS STATUS - Everyone ok?

[Overwhelmed]

For a tropical storm Isaias packed a punch. A tornado traveled 6 miles through my town and some of my neighbors still don't have power.

We're on Long Island & lost power Tuesday afternoon after the 3rd transformer blew. There's a fuse on the pole that sounds like a gunshot when it goes. We also got a generator after Sandy so we were good til Fri. nite when a mom-n-pop power company from Iowa restored us to the grid! Real nice guys, all real big w/full beard's-LOL. The day before, a tree-trimming crew from Kansas cleared the wood off the lines. No Cable/Internet so I'll be signing off for now.
