It's Official regarding the New Aviation ADSO

For those selected in branching aviation on 1 Oct 20 or after will incur a 10 year ADSO upon completion of flight training.

Class 2021 get ready for 4 more years of employment/deployments.

With the increase in overall ADSO to 8 years already... meh. Not a huge deal breaker for me, honestly.

It's just an extra 3 or 4 years. The one downside is the possibility of flying very little or nothing at all in the last few years of your ADSO.

I assume you used BRADSO in selecting aviation. I'm making an assumption next year BRADSO won't be an option (5+3). That's less than the new 10 year ADSO.
