I know there have been several threads going re. NROTC. I still haven't heard anything from the Jan. 26th board. Anybody else still waiting? I've had no change in status, no change DoDMERB, nothing. From old posts, it didn't seem to be taking this long to get results back. Do you think they are just overwhelmed with applicants?

Gone today from the house, but caller ID listed 2 calls from "US Government" from an 850-452--0000 number. - I did reverse look-up and it is Pensacola, FL. Isn't this where the Naval command center is? Any ideas????? Do they ever call for anything?? Wish we kept voice mail. (ha)

Yes...it is located in Pensacola. Not sure about the calls, I don't know the answer to that question. Hopefully it's good news for you!

I'm still waiting as well. My status says, "application is at CNRC for additional processing ..." What exactly does that mean? Its just the "additional processing" thing that scares me. Any idea?

Hmmmm.....additional processing? I'm not sure, maybe that means they are getting your scholarship letter ready! Mine still has the same status it has had for a while, Application has been submitted online Your electronic application has been received and is being processed ...
"Your application is at Naval Education and Training Command for final processing and selection determination. Selection decisions will begin in late August and continue until the end of April. Once a selection decision has been made, your new status will be reflected."

Phone call from Pepsi Cola

The phone call from Naval Training Command in Pensacola was to answer a facebook question I had on the Navy healthcare Facebook site (don't even remember, but probably asked) and to verify that they have daughter's scholarship application, and it will be reviewed late in March. Anyone else ever get a phone call like that? It was thoughtful of them to call, but totally unexpected.

I rec'd a similar call after my son changed something on his application. They're really into keeping you on-board while you're in their hands, I think.

My status updated today, it is at Naval Education and Training Command for final processing. I feel much better now!

Board meeting today

Heres wishing good news for everyone still waiting!

I spoke with a Lt in Fla last week and he told me the board will actually meet for the entire week and will review on avg 500 packets. Bet that makes for a long week
