January 15th Letter

Thanks guys. It will be nice to be able to relax from the stress of whether I got in and not having to worry about plans b and c. This being said, I will still be working out in preparation of bct and life at the academy, and I will also be smart about keeping my grades up and not doing anything stupid. I wish the rest of you good luck!

Not sure I agree wholeheartedly falconchic88. My suggestion would be continue to train (physically), and don't do anything stupid.

Iows, no senior it is and don't do stupid stunts where you can risk bodily damage....ski, but maybe this is the year you decide that doing a double daffy off of mogul is not a smart decision! Same with doing something stupid at the prom or a graduation party that can get you in trouble.

The altitude at USAFA can take a few days to get accustomed to, thus continue to train so even if your scores drop upon arrival, you won't be at the bottom.

Agree, I should have been more clear, I meant relax mentally knowing you have your acceptance. You can breath easy and not stress waiting for word to arrive. No more mailbox stalking etc. It should go without saying that rolson2015 needs to keep grades up, stay in shape physically, and stay out of trouble, in other words, keep doing the things he/she did to get an appointment in the first place.
