10% usually works for the whole deal. Initially i think you will see higher (30%) or so. Reason being many highly qualified candidates troll this site and will report their appointments at a higher rate than those who are appointed in later months.

But safe to assume if one was in this run they’d know by know presumably by way of MOC notification if ppetal to be updated next week...assuming typical interval timing?
 
So can one extrapolate the data using ~10% self posting #'s to infer that USAFA has sent out approximately 500+ appointments and USNA approximately 600+ and USMA approximately 200 ??

Having a DS who is a prep re-applicant this year, I will observe you will drive yourself crazy making assumptions or predictions. If my DS learned anything last time around, very little is predictable with any sort of certainty in this process. He didn't find out until late April that he was not selected. Your app is in. Respond promptly to any requests for additional information. Enjoy this time. Trust me on this. And good luck. We are pulling for you.

curiosity, how early did you submit your application?
 
Purely conjecture, but it seems logical that most of the early wave appointees would be 3Q principle nominees.

Possibly, but maybe not. Our DS does not think he was the principle nominee (was never specified anywhere) from either Senator or Congressman. He was 3Q with and LOE, but nothing more than that. We're very surprised, honestly. Honored and humbled, but surprised he heard so early.
