I'm an old LT (Army infantry) and transitioned to civilian long ago - B-School then consulting, where I'm currently a partner at a large strategy firm. I've done a ton of recruiting out of b-schools, but am actually interested in understanding (and helping) those who are not going directly to b-school. From my time at clients, there is clearly a huge need for leadership out there.
Are there any folks on here that are currently starting the search (O2s or young O3s)? I'd love to help give advice where I can, but also understand what the biggest pain points are for you guys in the job search process. Seems that the JMO recruiting firms are just "ok"; would love to know what excellent would look like? Likewise tons of online resources, but seems hard to navigate.
