Jury Duty

My DS received a jury duty summons for the month of August. Any advice on how to handle?

There's a phone number on the jury notification. Simply tell them that you're going to air force basic training starting in June. Military service is covered by the vast majority or local civil requirements. There's no "Legal" answer that you're going to find here. No one here is from your county. You just need to call them. Not a problem. (That's why they have alternates).
