Back in 2006/2007 I saw a movie..... and fell in love... The movie was Transformers, and although my hubby and my son fell in love with the girl.. I FELL in love with the car! That new Camaro made my heart flutter... So for years I have waited for Chevy to make some announcement.. FINALLY on 10/13/2008 I got an email from Chevy telling me that it was the first day for PRE-ORDERS!!!

On 10/13/08 I went to my dealer and gave them a deposit and placed my order for a V8-SS/RS Ice Silver Metallic 2010 Camaro!!

Production Starts on Monday in Canada... My dealer called me and reminded me that I am their #1 pre-order and that my Camaro will get started on Tuesday and I WILL have it next month !!! :thumb::thumb:

SOOOOOOOOOO even though we still wait for mail from CGA, The ABOVE news has me in the clouds!!!!

Congrats!

That story reminded me of Bullet seeing the C-5 in a commercial, and he was like our 3 yr old watching a toy commercial...Pointing with a big smile while he said I WANT THAT!

He did indeed get it, and we had it for over 7 yrs, until we realized that you shouldn't keep a car if you have less than 23K miles after 7 yrs and now have to jump it because you don't drive it.

Have fun with it...I always loved the camaro...am I the only one that is seeing a trend of the 70s looking cars...the Mustang, Charger and now the Camaro.

So we can keep this somehow military related, I am sure there will be alot of 2011 grads that will drive to their 1st assignment in one of them

BTW what color di you pick? No insult, but please don't say school bus orange

Transformers is a great movie though. The sequel comes out the day before I-Day :frown:

That's a good lookin' car. Looks capable of transforming into some sort of scary thing. Wouldn't know though, still haven't seen the movie :shake:
 
Well, hopefully Chevy will stay in business in time for you to get it. ;)
