I was hoping Tampa would win but i really though KC would. I picked Tampa because of Brady which is weird because i dont even really like him. At this point, it was the old timer vs the the future hall of famer and i was going to with the old timer. In the end, Tampa completely outplayed KC and KC shot themselves in the foot with all the penalties. I think if you had replaced Brady with other good to great QB, Tampa would have won anyway. My point being that it was a total team win

I think Mahomes is a great QB.

But to anoint him hall of fame status and the new goat seems off to me. He has played for three seasons. Let’s see how his career goes.

The track record for that style of qb ends with injury. I remember when Andrew Luck was the best qb ever when he started.

I think the difference with Mahomes is that, even though he will run with the ball, he is always looking for that pass. Look at all the times he has taken off at a sprint only to stop right at the line of scrimmage and deliver a strike to a receiver.

When I was a kid, his name was Tarkenton. And why I have suffered for 48 years as a Viking fan.

I don't think any serious sports writer would give PH Hall of Fame status quite yet. That was probably be the same blowhard who said Andrew Luck was the best Quarterback ever?

Just as it is undeniable, statistically, that Brady is the QB GOAT, Mahomes is undeniably, statistically, the best QB of the past three years and probably compiled the best first three year stats in history.

As @ProudDad17 suggested he is a passer who can run, not the other way around. He understands his limitations as a runner, which is why he slides and runs out of bounds.

Still my number 1 pick, when choosing sides.

I think the loss of the tackles and shifting around the line had a large impact on KC. Goes to show how important some of the names we rarely hear about are the key to a win.

That’s the biggest takeaway.

Tampa has a great defense too. I thought KC defense was overmatched - lot of no calls on holding or interference on corners.

Romo made it clear during the game: TB had two fast safeties playing long almost each down. Forced Mahomes to make throws 20/25 yards and shorter (other than those that Kelce dropped) or run it himself. With no running game that was decent it was great containment.

That plan was simple, brilliant and it worked. No long throws for the most part and it was game over.

I am a 28 year Bucs fan. But cannot accept Brady as a Buc. Glad we won, but I think a big part was the injuries to the KC O-Line. We didn’t play very many games this year where we got THAT much pressure on the quarterback even though we do have a pretty good pass rush. And, our defensive secondary is not great.

I think Chad Kielce would agree.

He and Gronk are two of a kind...good guys
I assume you mean Travis Kelce? Yeah I'm sure it would be a blast to sit down with the two of them. Then throw in George Kittle from the 49ers and you'd really have a party.

Wow! Thanks.

I watched CHAD KELSAY many Saturdays at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, NE., before he headed off the the Steelers.

Got stuck in Kielce, Poland on my Honeymoon. Loooong story. Was supposed to be in Budapest, the jewel of the Soviet Bloc. Ended up in Kielce--not a jewel. 40 years and 9 mos. later, my wife still insists, "It wasn't THAT bad."

Favorite image from last season was KC having mounted another huge comeback. With about a minute to go, game in hand, Kelce was giving Andy Reid a shoulder rub.

One thing for sure. It is wonderful to see Bucs flags flying around town again instead of political flags. Football, more that any other sport in this country, has a way of bringing people together.
