If you only got a call from your senator then I suggest you wait a couple more days for an official letter. In a lot of cases the MOC will call to tell you the good news and then a letter will come in the mail from their office confirming it a few days after the call. If you don't want to wait for the letter or if it doesn't come, then call the senator's office and ask them to email or snail-mail you a copy of it. Then send that into WP if they don't have your portal updated by then.
 
Also, if you're checking your email, be sure to check your spam folder as well.

Well I got the nomination on the 31st, but the call on Thursday. How long do you think I should wait?
 
I would wait until Monday or Tuesday and then call. I know some MOC's said they won't announce their noms until the 2nd week in Feb....yeah how crazy is that!? But since you've already gotten the call, just contact their office and ask them when you'll receive your official letter.
 
Don't sweat the letter from your MOC. It is more ceremonial than useful. There is a specific form that they must send (electronically these days) to West Point for your nomination to be officially loaded into the system.
 
Jspar16, take the advice of 845something and relax. All nominations had to be in to West Point by January 31st. I'm certain it is already in their hands. Admissions is slammed right now! Your portal should be updated within a couple of weeks. Since your nomination is a "principal" and you have been fully qualified by West Point, you will probably be seeing that BFE in the next wave of appointments. Congratulations and good luck slaying THE BEAST!
