This is my second choice behind West Point and I'm happy to announce that I got in!

It has been my dream to serve as a commissioned officer in the Army since I was 4!

I know I ask many questions about the ECP but since I got in, do you think my chances have improved for the ECP in the National ROTC scholarship process? It is the 1st board and I have applied through there!

Congrats. I think scholarship award and school admissions are mutually exclusive. If you asked for ECP as your first choice you are highly like to get ECP 2 years and unlikely for 4 year scholarship. It saves Army money. I could be wrong but that seems to be the case.

Last year they were offering ECP Scholarships to those that had not even applied for an ECP Scholarship. If you actually applied for one then I would think your chances are pretty good.

Thanks, most likely the first board?

More than likely if you accept admission to MMI then the offer will come thru them. The individual schools have x-number of scholarships to award.
I don't think you being accepted to MMI will have a bearing on the national level as they don't have that information on your application.

In my experience at MMI if you are looking and qualified SAT/ACT wise for West Point then you will get a ECP scholarship if you want it.
