I just spoke with someone from my first choice school about my application for Army ROTC. This school is out of state, so for my interview I went to a local college. I don't remember the date, but it was over a month ago. The interview was the last thing I needed to complete for my application to be finished. After trying to contact CC and learning that my POC was no longer with them I have been upstream without a paddle. Apparently the person I interviewed with never sent in the required paperwork and as of today has still not sent it in. I tried contacting the school I interviewed with, but my calls were not returned. What can I do? The only person who I spoke to was from my 1st choice school and they have been extremely helpful. They told me to call the school I interviewed with tomorrow and that they will do the same. Do you think the board will review my application even though the interviewer never sent in the file? What can I do?

No, I do not think the board will review your application without your interview report. The advice you've recieved seems good to me....call the school you interviewed with and find out why your interview was never sent to CC. Do not just leave a message for whoever interviewed you. Leave a message for everybody in the battalion if all you get is voice mail. Be polite but persistent.

Call the admin listed on the school's rotc website. They usually know everything that's going on, or who to talk to. If you can go down to the local school then do so. It will be a big help that the school you want to go to will also call. If you get no where, ask #1 school if you can do a internet/or phone interview.

Thanks for the replies. I will do as you guys say. I'm just stressed since I thought I was just waiting to hear back about whether or not I would be receiving a scholarship. I'm glad I caught the problem now and not too late.
