Hi. I am a parent of a young man who has applied for the USCGA. DS attended AIM this past summer and loved it! All he talked about for weeks was AIM.
I just want to thank the folks who have this forum. I do not post much here but do read a lot and DS has also found it to be a very useful tool.
I also want to thank The CGA Admissions staff ( not sure if any of them visit this forum or not). The application process is one of the best!! DS loves the " Lack List". For an application that didn't open until September for the class of 2015, they sure know how to do it right! We loved how the areas were " greyed out" once that part of the application was completed! If anyone has contact with the admissions staff, please thank them for all of their efforts.

Welcome and good luck to your son! Indeed we do have an admission's person on here, posting under the SN "Objee." He is on here a lot and will be happy to answer any questions I'm sure.:smile:

Totally agree with you! The Admission staff at USCGA is helpful, knowledgeable and thorough, as well as great to work with.
 
son just applied and already everything is in and checked off. Just waiting in an interview and new SAT scores that should be out on Thursday....:smile:

If I am not mistaken, the October SAT scores will be ready tomorrow on College Board. DS is also taking the ACT in December( by then he will have almost completed his Physics and Chemistry classes). Hopefully this will help with his science score:thumb:
