I just logged into the USCGA website and noticed they now have my Lack List in the margin. The Online Application and Sports Forms are grayed out, indicating they received them, but the Supplemental Forms section is still in bold. I sent these last week with a tracking number, so I know they are there. Anyone else experiencing this? -officer

From my access to the Lack List, the web site clearly indicates the following:

Please note that if an item in the Lack list is listed in bold, then the item has been completed/received. Supplemental forms may take a few days and up to two weeks to process within Admissions.

This is cut and pasted from the www.uscga.edu website

Lack List

Below is a list of steps that must be completed before your application can be reviewed. As each item is received and logged, it will be “grayed out.” Please feel free to check this site to monitor your progress.

Grayed out

same thing happened in a previous year....turns out there was a glitch in the system......call the admissions office to be sure....there's some great folks in the "back-office" that can tell you for sure...it will give you peace of mind to find out directly. Definitely, don't overuse calling them though.

The system is different when accessed through the AAP portal, whether an item is in "bold" or "gray" (completed items actually show up in green on my system).

However, the time frame about supplemental forms (from two days up to two weeks) is valid information and the response the OP was looking for.

officer - if you have any doubt as to whether or not an item has been received, you can contact an AAP or an Admissions Officer to verify the status of the item, either of them can look it up for you.

Thanks All,

I'm going to give it a week or so. If it doesnt gray out by then, then I'll call. -officer

An FYI:

Just received conformation from a LT at USCGA that they are having a glitch in the system and experiencing difficulties with the SAT/ACT scores being shown as received. They are working to resolve this problem.
