Hi,
One week ago I was turning in my application to my representative for a nomination. However I only had one out of three letters of rec so I decided to just turn in what I have instead of nothing. Later I got an email saying my application was received and it is complete and my interview has been scheduled with the given time date and place. Should I still email the representative’s coordinator the remaining letters of recommendation or just leave it as it is.

Wow that’s fortunate. In our area, your application would be deemed incomplete and therefore no interview.

Our's would have been deemed incomplete as well. If you have a decent email relationship with the coordinator you could ask.
Wow I’m even more surprised. I mean I had to turn it in through hard copies since my congressman doesn’t have an online application. Could this be the reason why I got the complete status?

My GUESSSSSSS is that it was perhaps overlooked by the staffer. Or whoever was accepting them. Most, if not all, at least have a portion that is hard copy turn-in. Why didn't you have them? Were the LOR's to be emailed to the staffer directly? Doesn't matter because it's your job to follow up with your recommenders.

I think Heather21 is suggesting that if you have an established relationship with the staffer who works the SA program, you could email them and inquire about what to do.

Yes I noticed but unfortunately I dont have a type of relationship with the staffer. I’m just surprised my application got deemed completed while other areas have a policy on incomplete applications.

The other 2 recommenders may have sent in their letters on their own. This happened to DS. He was waiting on 1 letter when the staff liaison emailed to let him know the letter was received (she did that with everything he didn’t send in). Then, he sent in the rest of the packet. Maybe email or call their office to ask if the other 2 letters were received. If not, I’m sure they’ll let you send them in. And good luck!

When I said 'relationship' I meant a professional rapport with the staffer. Over the course of the summer and working on applications our DS has had to communicate with several staffers to get IT issues resolved or clarify changes in mailing addresses, updates to resume etc. He has a positive rapport with each and as such would be able to reach out and respectfully ask a question. He has met staffers at SA forums but has no friendship with any of them. Strictly established through email and respectfully worded questions.

Our 3 offices all explicitly state apps and all docs must be in the office by said date. Postmarks not accepted. Late not accepted. Several had online applications but required certain things to be snail mailed or hand carried.

He was grateful he started the apps in June as several components were not received when they should have been and as recently as 2 weeks ago, one office let him know they didn't have his HS transcript (although it was mailed in same envelope as college trans in July and they had that). We barely had time to get another requested and sent out and confirmed receipt via email to staffer.

One of the offices listed closing app date as 'October 2019', with no specific date. I just looked at it and it is closed, so anyone who may have thought they had 'thru' October is going to be shocked and DQ'd.
