My portal took about 2 days to update.. but it will update in 24 to 48 hours after your commander approves it.
 
I got another bugging question. Does anyone know if people have been turned down if they took an enlistment bonus. I received $2000 for 6 years. I reach my 3 year point in September.

I wouldn't know off the top of my head, I would try to call your USAFA Counselor and ask them directly.
They might not know either but can put you in the right direction.
 
For any former students...

Have you ever heard of someone getting turned away from a certain degree because they tested into a lower math? I want to go for meteorology but I know for a fact I'm not going to do great on this placement test and will get put into their remedial algebra/trig or whatever...and I'm curious if that could give them reason to say I can't go for meteorology right off the bat? (I mean obviously down the line if I fail a course, thats a different story)

You wouldn't get turned away... you're just going to have to buckle down. You dont start picking your degree and taking specific classes until at least sophmore year I believe.
 
Hey! I have a quick question regarding AFI 36-2013 and beginning my application for LEAD. On Table 1.1, blocks 3 and 4 mention restrictions regarding how long someone has been continuously serving in the Air Force and minimum time on station requirements. I have received conflicting information on when I can begin the process of applying for LEAD (some say there are no time restrictions), and was hoping to get a clear answer here. Thank you!

Just follow the AFI and if you have questions ask your regional counselor or ALO, don't rely on third party information for this stuff use your resources.

Like late january. I was told by my counselor that my application has been reviewed as of the 26th of february and that they are starting to look at airmen for prep this month.

They are now starting to do majority of prep school appointments? Oh thank lord, I was starting to loose hope. I wonder how some enlisted airmen found out so early about their prep appointment. I guess their package was A+ and ours are like a C-
